Great Brook Farm is a working farm owned by the state of Massachusetts. There are many trails, fields and bodies of water, offering countless opportunities for inspiration to paint there, which I have on many occasions. This was early in the morning, mid to late April and I was intrigued by the emerging Spring colors but still reminders of winter just passed. I did this on an 8 x 10 400 Grit, UArt 8 Ply board, which I find work great for plein air work.
