I love storms; I've always been drawn to them. After investing in some anchoring equipment and an umbrella, I hit a local park to challenge myself to painting a storm en plein air. I stuck with a small masonite panel because I didn't know how the paint would hold up under wet conditions, but I managed to pull this one off and capture the mood and colors just before the storm hit.
