Yellow Iris Flowers

I found this beautiful iris at the nursery and carried it like a baby in my arms to the car, protecting it from wind so the petals wouldn't bruise. I painted this indoors while the iris was still in it's pot. It is now very happy our garden outside and I look forward to her blooming again.
