I spent almost a year on this off and on building and building the textures. You probably cant see it too well from a distance but i implore people to zoom in. Many months of sanding and layering broken color. Those that have followed my art probably recognize this pond, I have painted there and painted it as a subject dozens of times and at this phase im really most interested in the abstract nature of the textures and value shapes.
