Grand Adage in Time

Grand Adage in Time” is a painting that I dreamt of one night. It represents my feelings about the limited time we have in life and the pressure to achieve certain goals within a specific timeframe. The Grand Adage is a ballet move that requires slow, controlled, and graceful movements. As the sand empties from the hourglass, time
is personified by the ballet dancer performing the Grand Adage. This painting reminds me to be patient with myself and not to feel inadequate if I’m not progressing as quickly as I would like. It’s more important to take deliberate steps forward than to rush and make mistakes.
