Last Light Peeking Through

Sunset and dusk is the time of the evening when interesting shapes, colors, and shadows come about. As an artist, this time of day can be both incredibly challenging and incredibly rewarding to paint. The sunsets, dusk, and twilight hours where I live are filled with dramatic colors and shapes that inspire me to paint them. Sometimes i will paint the scenes in plein air, and at other times i will paint a scene from memory. "Last Light Peeking Through" was inspired from watching the dusk set along the coast.
